Deep Focus / Engine Group (2014 - 2017)

Deep Focus was a digitally led creative agency owned by the Engine Group. I was the President, DF West, leading an incredible team that raced drones in the Mojave Desert, created a PC Modder reality show, taught phones how to dance, created compelling brand stories for Samsung, and transformed Intel from an ingredient brand into a technology performance brand.

How Do Intel Tablets Work?

Intel gave us the challenge to playfully explain how their technology powered tablets, PCs and other devices that are critical (but invisible) to most Millennials around the world. Our approach was a series of person-on-the street interviews in London and Barcelona that paired real responses with humorous animations illustrating their notions.

Ubisoft needed a compelling way to let fans know that Just Dance 2016 could be played with your phone. Deep Focus responded by creating a new host of characters that starred in their own TV commercials, digital media and social campaigns.

For three years Deep Focus served as Samsung TV's Global Digital and Social AOR. We built their social strategy, voice and playbook across every social channel, created always-on, burst and tentpole content and responded to fan questions and concerns and developed.
